The Municipality of San Miguel de Salinas
San Miguel de Salinas is located in the south of the Alicante Province, between the cities of Torrevieja and Murcia. The municipality is situated on a hill (75m above sea level) which offers panoramic views from many places over the salt lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja.

This local market in San Miguel is every Wednesday and has about 165 stalls. Here you can buy many different products such as fresh fruit at prices cheaper than the supermarket and general household items such as decorative and household items.
Characteristic of San Miguel de Salinas are the cave houses (Las Cuevas), where there is even a delicious restaurant.
