We are proud to present our
newest design of a very special baroque rocking
horse. We prefere designing horses with medieval
and historical influences.
This is an unique, very decorative, hand-carved
model of a dressage horse into the 'piaffe' or
collected trot with curly manes and tail.
The horse is made of limewood and we spend much
time to create an realistic, atletic horse with
muscles for the highest performance. The legs are
moving like they should.
The bow is a new design with hand carved royal
elements.
We spend over 400 man-hours to create and finish
it.
The (removable) saddle with a
wooden tree has just been finished. It became a
(8 inches) saddle in a royal parade atmosphere.
It is covered with royal blue velvet with a light
blue (suede, leather) lining. Embroidery with gold
-, light blue, some red, silver silk and brass
decorations in the model of hearts for the
finishing 'touch'.
The dark blue bridle and
martingale (as everything on the horse) is also
custom and hand made for this horse and covered
with brass decorations.
This horse has been sold (USA).

August 2005: 'Giovanni arrived today. In
tact and unscathed. Your people certainly know how to pack
things! It took forever to get him out of his box!
Giovanni is superb! I am very impressed with the amount
of detail given not just to the horse, but to the bridle and saddle.
Exquisite workmanship! Thank you so much. I love him'.
